Interesting detail I discovered in GTA V

Today while free roaming, I stole a Fieldmaster tractor with a sand rake on it. I managed to tear the rake off with assorted shenanigans. At this point, the tractor began dumping hydraulic fluid. I thought this was pretty cool, because that would happen in real life. I then tried taking the tractor up a very steep hill, knowing it was a hopeless endeavor. It got to a point where it would stay put with full throttle, and there was no wheelspin. As I just mashed the throttle, it started shooting flames and sparks out of the exhaust stack. The smoke also started getting worse. All of a sudden, the engine died and wouldn't start. The little details prior to blowing the engine were what made it for me. The level of detail in such a massive game is simply ridiculous.

Might have been a fuel leak. If you shoot a gas tank and drive for a bit, the vehicle will leave a trail and eventually die.

I'm pretty sure I once permanently compressed the shocks of a car by taking it over too many jumps.

It could have been. It was bright red, making either hydraulic fluid or off road diesel candidates. I know I definitely blew the engine though.

I definitely recommend GTA. I don't even play online (doesn't sound worth it anymore) and it's a fantastic game.

The sand rake thing is considered a trailer. I was super disappointed that they aren't universal, though. As in you can't tow a rake with a pickup and you can't tow a regular trailer with a tractor.

I knew it was a trailer. And I wish they were universal. I also wish there were more trailers. I'd love to hoon around making haybales.

Yes, me too!
I also wish they didn't break off when you jackknife. One of my favorite things to do is shoot out the tires of a trailer and then try to drive the wrong way down the freeway, trailer swinging into the path of everyone. This also works with a towtruck pulling a car with no tires.

I have Xbox Live Gold but something's up with it - it says my name and/or password isn't right and to reset my PW at with Microsoft. No problem, right? I used a Gmail account and that is the problem. That's a long winded way of saying "I don't play online either"

That's a pretty neat detail.

It's amazing how much detail R* put into the game.

Almost every billboard in the game is numbered, although the difference in numbers only exists in the billboard structure, not the billboard's location.

Many of the stores have at least simple 3D interiors.

One can spend days seeking out all sorts of details in the game.

I had the same problem. All you have to do is set your email (when it asks for it) to (your gamertag) @Hotmail.com and then just enter the password.
